About Birse Civils
The Birse Group was founded in 1970 and pursued a strategy of steady growth. In May 2002 Birse Group created a number of new operating companies, one of which was Birse Civils Limited. The creation of each new business enabled Birse Civils to provide greater focus on its customers, building constructive and mutually beneficial working relationships and repeat business.
In August 2006 Birse Group plc was acquired by the Balfour Beatty Group and Birse Civils now operates as a division of Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering Limited.
Birse Civils provides a range of civil engineering construction services throughout the UK carrying out projects from around £0.5m to £90m for a wide range of public and private sector customers.
Our involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance and ranges from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.
